Each night, SAM will run a report and automatically reshuffle future motelling accommodation bookings—freeing up unused rooms for additional future bookings. This ensures accommodation is utilised in the most efficient manner.

Another great tool is the SMS functionality. In times of emergencies, you can SMS employees to let them know of emergency procedures such as when and how to evacuate.

Campsite Administrators can also run all their reports from SAM, including Manday reporting. In addition to storing an individual’s personal details, SAM allows you to run a variety of reports to manage necessary workforce requirements such as who needs to be drug and alcohol tested and who needs induction training. SAM also increases the visibility of your employees and lets you run a number of reports to illustrate aspects of your workforce such as diversity.

The Human Resources team can also ensure their fatigue management guidelines are being implemented and adhered to through SAM. Simply instruct your Camp Managers to enter specific rules into SAM about fatigue management and then SAM will automatically adhere to these rules when creating travel and shift patterns for an individual.



SAM is a great tool to increase transparency and ensure due diligence with the financial management of a remote campsite. SAM captures information about an employee including cost codes and department codes. This means, the finance department is able to easily run a number of reports about who worked where and how much money is owed to each contractor.
